Questions
Where should we meet if one of us is in Farringdon and the other in South Kensington?
Paddington is the fairest Tube station to meet between Farringdon and South Kensington: about 9 minutes from Farringdon and 11 minutes from South Kensington. It balances the two journeys so neither of you travels much longer than the other.
Can we start from a whole line instead of a station?
Yes. In the planner, pick a line and choose "Anywhere on the line". getaround.london then picks the stop on that line that gives the fairest meeting point.
How do you work out the times?
TfL timetable run times on the Tube, DLR and trams, distance-based estimates for the Overground, Elizabeth line and National Rail, and 4 minutes for each change. They are estimates, not live times, and leave out walking to the station and waiting for a train.
